Reflector Telescopes
This is the telescope that’s best for viewing distant star clusters, galaxies, and nebula. Reflectors use mirrors in the base of large tubes that gather light. A Dobsonian Reflector refers to the telescopes mount, that moves up and down to adjust for altitude and also sits on a pivot, a simple design that’s easy to use.
Popular sizes are 6” and 8” though they do come in larger sizes. You will find that price per inch, reflector telescopes offer an inexpensive opportunity for viewing deep sky objects.
